Day 1: Home to Coffs Harbour - Friday 5 February

Setting off eager to experience the beauty of the Blue Mountains, we head to Ballina. visit the heritage listed Ballina Manor to uncover the life and transformations of the manor along with lunch. Travelling on we head for our overnight stay in Coffs Harbour.

Day 2: Coffs Harbour to Gosford - Saturday 6 February

This morning we continue along the coast as we make our way to the twin towns of Tuncurry and Foster. Known for its natural beauty and located on the banks of the pristine Wallis Lake it is the perfect place to stop, stretch our legs and purchase lunch. This afternoon has us travelling to Gosford, where we’ll settle in for the evening.

Day 3: River Boat Postman - Sunday 7 February

Join the mail run! Meeting the Riverboat Postman, we hop on board and begin cruising along the Hawkesbury River. Known as one of Australia’s greatest scenic waterways, with its historical isolated communities, the Last Riverboat Postman has been servicing the region for over a century. Sitting back, we enjoy the tranquil scenery of sandy beach coves and fiord like inlets while listening to the lively commentary from the Skipper as we make our all-important deliveries. Back on dry land, we had to our hotel on the out skirts of Sydney. Here we can refresh before dinner.

Day 4: Paddlewheelers & Norman Lindsays' Home - Monday 8 February

Board the romantic Nepean Belle Paddlewheeler, with is beautifully panelled stain timbers, reflecting the grace and charm of yester-year. Relaxing into a morning tea cruise on the Nepean River, we feast upon the opulent scenery of the Blue Mountains National Park that surrounds us. Then in the village of Glenbrook we enjoy a viewing at Aitkens in the Round Panorama, where a lovely gift shop well worth visiting before lunch. As we begin to wind our way up through the mountains, we veer off to Faulconbridge, the home of Australian artist and writer Norman Lindsay. Controversial in his time, Norman Lindsay’s home now serves as a gallery with painting adorn walls and sculptures dotted throughout the beautiful gardens. Travelling deeper, we arrive in the gorgeous village of Leura and settle into our hotel

Day 5: A Day in the Blue Mountains - Tuesday 9 February

Commence your day at Bygone Beauty Teapot Museum and Tea Room. Wandering through the vast collection of crockery, you’ll be amazed to find such a huge variety of teapot design. We enjoy a delightful Devonshire tea before exploring the Everglades Gardens. Known as one of the most important historic gardens in Australia, we’ll discover why it is considered by many to be unparalleled in the country for its unique design. Enjoying lunch here we then head to Blackheath, a beautiful Blue Mountains Village and find the Victory Theatre Antique Centre. Built in early 1900s as the Arcadia Picture Palace, it is now a spectacular antique centre offering an impressive range of furniture, jewellery, fine porcelain, needlework and unusual collectable items. Take in the breathtaking views of the Grose Valley and Bridal Veil Falls at Govetts Leap Lookout before returning to Leura after a wonderful day in the Blue Mountains!

Day 6: Spectacular Vistas - Wednesday 10 February

This morning we enjoy free time to explore the village before beholding the spectacular vistas from Echo Point and the well known The Three Sisters. In Katoomba visit the Carrington Hotel with a fascinating history which we unfold during our tour of the property after which we enjoy lunch. The afternoon will be spent at Scenic World where you’ll immerse yourselves your stunning surroundings. Ride the Railway, Skyway and Cableway giving you every vantage point possible!  After a fantastic day we return to our hotel and freshen up before dinner.

Day 7: Blue Mountains to Tamworth - Thursday 11 February

We are up with the sparrow call this morning as our journey takes us through the Bylong Valley Way, part of the Greater Blue Mountains Touring Route. Boasting an engaging mix of stunning scenery and sleepy towns it’s a spectacular way to reach Muswellbrook. Here you’ll enjoy lunch before continuing on to Tamworth, where we rest for the night.

Day 8: Tamworth to Lismore - Friday 12 February

Today we continue the journey home, making our way through Armidale we enjoy our morning break at Ebor. From here journey through mountain country as we wind our way to Grafton, where we have lunch waiting for us at the Grafton District Services Club. Feeing content continue to Lismore where we settle in for the evening.

Day 9: Homeward Bound - Saturday 13 February

This morning marks our final day on tour. As we make our journey home, we take the time to reflect on our memories of the stunning Blue Mountain views and charming villages. From romantic old-worlde Paddlewheelers to “The Magic Pudding” characters and stunning gardens! We will arrive home eager to share our holiday stories and photos with friends and family.
